As a St. Louis native, I have always dreamed of working in a big city like New York City. One of the many reasons I decided to attend Syracuse University was because I would be given more resources and opportunities for a potential career in NYC (even if it is 4 hours away). I am pursuing a degree in Marketing Management at the Martin J. Whitman School of Management. In addition, I have always had an interest in the public relations industry, so I am minoring in Public Communications at the prestigious S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. 

 

While at Syracuse University, I have tried to immerse myself in not only organizations that interest me, but will also broaden my knowledge about future career paths. This semester, I joined TNH Ad Agency to learn about the advertising aspect of the marketing field. I was able to learn about what goes into making an ad campaign. In addition, last summer, I was a Communications Intern at Villa Duchesne and Oak Hill School. I was able to develop my photography, videography, editing, and graphic design skills to create a video and brochure to promote the school’s summer camp. 

 

People often describe me as always having a smile on my face. I try to always be positive and have a fun perspective on life. However, when it comes time to be serious, I will work hard to turn in my best work for classes, clubs, and jobs.
